Cyber Security - Manager (Engineering)

Delivers cloud security engineering for clients of Riveron's Cyber Security Advisory practice, which serves startups, mid-market firms and private-equity portfolios. The role monitors and investigates alerts and tunes detections in Sentinel, GuardDuty and Google Cloud logging, designs multi-cloud identity and privileged access around least privilege, runs posture tools such as Defender for Cloud and Security Hub, secures cloud networks and data, builds security into CI/CD with infrastructure as code, and develops AI-assisted internal tools, while mentoring junior staff and helping with GRC and strategy work.

Riveron wants five or more years in cybersecurity or cloud security engineering across at least two of AWS, GCP and Azure, depth in zero trust, containers, secrets and vulnerability management, and a cloud security certification or CISSP. Remote in the US with client travel.
