About the role
Drives incident response strategy and detection engineering on Robinhood's Detection & Response team, part of a Security Operations group that also covers threat intelligence and red teaming. The senior engineer commands high-pressure incidents and briefs leadership, builds and tunes the detection catalog across cloud and Kubernetes environments, helps architect the Autonomic Security Operations roadmap with AI agents and automated issue discovery, reviews code across languages for vulnerabilities, and covers a one-week on-call rotation.
Robinhood wants five or more years in detection and response, incident response or security operations, strong cloud and Kubernetes security, detection pipeline and SOAR experience, and hands-on agentic AI work for security operations. Hybrid, three days a week in Bellevue, Menlo Park or Denver.
