Staff Software Engineer, AI Security

About the role
Helps lead the build of the AI platform that Robinhood's security teams use to develop and run AI-powered agents and security tools, as a Staff Software Engineer on the AI Security team. The engineer designs the platform's services, APIs, libraries and SDKs, builds in strong identity, authentication, authorization, encryption and data protection controls, creates guardrails for operating agents safely, runs the large distributed systems behind these use cases, and helps set the platform's technical direction with security and infrastructure partners.
Robinhood wants eight or more years of software development, six or more building large distributed systems around security concepts, experience with AI platforms or agent infrastructure, Go or Python, and cloud-native tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC or Kafka. Hybrid, three days a week in Menlo Park or Bellevue.
