Cybersecurity Engineer II - Secret Clearance

Protects the IT infrastructure behind Rocket Lab's Space Development Agency programmes as a cybersecurity engineer in its Space Systems software group in Long Beach. The engineer designs and manages security for programme networks, servers and applications, runs regular assessments, vulnerability scans and penetration tests, sets and enforces security policies and standards, monitors systems and handles incidents, and works with IT and developers to fold security into the software lifecycle.

It requires a relevant degree, two years in system security engineering, an active Secret clearance and US citizenship, a DoD 8140 certification such as Security+ or CISSP, and knowledge of NIST 800, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, common security tools and cloud security.
