About the role
The most senior cybersecurity engineering post on Rocket Lab's Space Development Agency programmes, based in Long Beach. The engineer owns the design and upkeep of programme security across networks, servers and applications, leads assessments, vulnerability scanning and penetration tests, sets and enforces policies, handles incident analysis and remediation, works with IT and development teams on secure software practices, and guides junior engineers.
It asks for eight years in system security engineering, a relevant degree, an active Secret clearance and US citizenship, a DoD 8140 certification, deep familiarity with NIST 800, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls, security tooling and cloud security; DevSecOps, forensics and scripting experience are a plus.
