Security Engineer

Protects RVO Health's cloud infrastructure, applications and sensitive health data as a Security Engineer on the company's Security team, working from the Charlotte area. Responsibilities include designing cloud security controls, running posture and vulnerability management with pull-request scanning and follow-through to closure, setting guardrails on packages, dependencies and extensions in the developer toolchain, securing CI/CD pipelines and AI-generated code, building automation so controls are self-service, reviewing code and testing applications, keeping procedures aligned with HIPAA and NIST CSF, and handling weekly on-call for MDR escalations and incidents.

RVO Health wants at least four years in application, cloud or related security work, AWS or Azure security knowledge, experience with Wiz, Orca or Prisma Cloud, scripting, secure coding and incident response. Hybrid at the Fort Mill, South Carolina office in the Charlotte metro area.
