About the role
Secures Scale AI's platform infrastructure as a Security Engineer on the infrastructure side, covering large cloud environments, compute clusters including GPU clusters, and infrastructure as code. The engineer hardens AWS, Azure and GCP environments with security configurations and policies, assesses and audits infrastructure for weaknesses, sets standards for secure automation and orchestration, reviews Terraform and CloudFormation, works with developer experience, IT and product teams across the infrastructure lifecycle, and mentors colleagues on emerging threats.
Scale looks for security engineering experience, NodeJS, TypeScript and Kubernetes, GPU cluster security, infrastructure-as-code skills and ideally a senior or lead background; AWS Security Specialty or CCSP is a plus. Based in New York, San Francisco, Seattle or Washington, DC.
