Principal Software Engineer II - Product Security

The senior technical authority for Snowflake's Product Security team, which builds the frameworks, systems and services that keep its products secure from design through deployment. This principal engineer sets the long-term security architecture for Snowflake and steers strategy across AI security, authentication, authorisation, data protection and software supply chain security.

The engineer designs secure-by-default services and tools that protect infrastructure, customer data and accounts, plans defences against emerging AI threats, aligns engineering, infrastructure, AI/ML and security teams, and mentors engineers. Snowflake wants fifteen or more years building and securing large distributed cloud systems, company-level technical leadership, and deep expertise across areas such as AI/ML security, applied cryptography and IAM.
