A senior software engineer on Snowflake's Cloud Security team, which cuts risk with software-defined controls and pipelines rather than one-off fixes, across more than 600 million assets in AWS, Azure and GCP. Listed in Menlo Park, hybrid.
The engineer builds services that monitor and govern security posture, automates controls for IAM, detection, configuration and data protection, builds real-time monitoring and alerting on Snowflake's own technology, sets cloud security baselines, and runs AI-assisted pipelines that score risk and surface the most important issues, while mentoring others through design reviews. Snowflake prefers five or more years of software engineering, experience owning secure large-scale systems and threat modelling, and coding in Java, C++, Go or Python. AI/ML for security, SQL, Kubernetes and Terraform are pluses.
