Senior Software Engineer - Identity, Data Security and Trust

A senior engineer joining Snowflake's Identity, Data Security and Trust organisation, listed in Bellevue on a hybrid basis, whose teams build the platform's security foundations and the tools customers use to manage their security, governance, privacy and compliance posture.

Depending on the team, the work spans AI agent identity, MCP security and admin guardrails; core IAM including SSO, MFA, OAuth, SAML, SCIM and RBAC at large scale; secret and key management, service identity and encryption; policy enforcement tooling; pluggable detectors and responders for the Trust Center; CIS-based posture assessments; and network defences against ransomware and exfiltration. Snowflake wants five or more years building and running large distributed cloud systems, strong computer science fundamentals, Java, C++, Python, Go or Rust with SQL, and experience carrying a pager for production services.
