Classified Cyber Assurance Analyst

A practitioner on SpaceX's classified cyber assurance programme in Government Security Programs, on-site in Hawthorne, who assesses the programme against standards and requirements, helps govern it, and acts as its main contact for customers, regulators, government and suppliers.

The analyst owns the full RMF assessment and authorisation lifecycle for assigned classified systems, keeps them compliant with regulatory and contractual rules, folds in new requirements, coordinates audits and tests, chooses automation and GRC tooling, works with Nessus, Splunk, Security Center, ServiceNow and eMASS, and mentors cleared analysts. SpaceX asks for a bachelor's degree or three years managing classified system assurance, plus at least a year in cyber assurance; NRO and JSIG experience is preferred. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a CI polygraph, DoD IAM Level III certification and some travel are required.
