About the role
An Information System Security Manager in SpaceX's Government Security Programs group, on-site in Hawthorne, helping lead the classified cyber assurance programme: assessing it against standards and requirements, governing it, and representing it to customers, regulators, government agencies and suppliers.
The ISSM carries assigned classified systems through the full RMF assessment and authorisation lifecycle, keeps them compliant with policy and contracts, brings in new requirements, schedules audits and tests, selects automation and GRC tools, works in Nessus, Splunk, Security Center, ServiceNow and eMASS, and mentors cleared analysts. SpaceX asks for a bachelor's degree or three years of classified cyber assurance and at least one year in the field, and prefers NRO and JSIG experience and ATOs for satellite or weapon systems. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a CI polygraph, DoD IAM Level III certification and travel are required.
