Information System Security Officer

An Information System Security Officer in SpaceX's Government Security Programs group, on-site in Hawthorne, who keeps assigned classified information systems authorised and compliant as part of the company's classified cyber assurance programme.

The ISSO runs the RMF assessment and authorisation process from start to finish for those systems, applies regulatory, policy and contract requirements and works new ones in, plans and coordinates audits and assessments, evaluates tooling, uses Nessus, Splunk, Security Center, ServiceNow and eMASS, mentors cleared analysts and builds relationships with government customers and partners. SpaceX asks for a bachelor's degree or three years of classified cyber assurance, plus a year in the field; NRO and JSIG processes, ATOs and COMSEC experience are preferred. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a CI polygraph, DoD IAM Level III certification and some travel are required.
