Insider Threat Program Analyst

Supports SpaceX's insider threat programme from the Investigations team in Hawthorne, analysing programme data and unusual events to shield the company's intellectual property, systems and staff from harm by people inside the organisation.

With DLP, SIEM, UEBA and other analytic tools, the analyst spots signs of data theft or destruction, opens and conducts internal investigations alongside Information Security, HR, Legal and other security colleagues, protects case files and personal data, produces reports and metrics, helps with staff briefings and works with outside industry and government partners. SpaceX wants a bachelor's degree with two years in investigations, information security or counterintelligence, or four years of experience instead; SIEM, forensic, eDiscovery and data pipeline skills are preferred. The role needs an active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for one, occasional travel and extended hours.
