Security Engineer (OT)

Secures the operational technology networks that support launch, vehicle testing and production at SpaceX's Starbase site in Texas, as an on-site security engineer in Information Security doing hands-on software and network work.

The engineer architects and documents network and security designs for OT environments, writes and deploys software that runs on OT and on-premises networks, automates data centre networking, builds segmentation and access controls, and handles monitoring, detection and response for OT security events, working with engineering, IT and site teams. Requirements are a STEM bachelor's degree or two years of security software development, programming in Python, Go, C#, C/C++ or Rust, and experience implementing security for operating systems or large-scale systems. Network automation, BGP, Terraform and Ansible, and industrial control system experience are preferred. Passing an Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral is required.
