Sr. Security Analyst (Threat Detection)

A senior analyst in SpaceX Security Operations focused on threat detection, working as a frontline responder in the SOC for a company that nation states and other hostile actors target. Day to day the analyst triages and remediates alerts and anomalies, carries incident investigations through to root cause, collects evidence, and helps engineering teams close the gaps attackers used. Building detections for sophisticated attacker tradecraft and widening endpoint and network visibility are central to the job.

The team wants five or more years in security, networking or systems work (seven without a degree), with knowledge of operating system internals and host and network collection tools. SIEM experience in Splunk or Elastic, scripting, forensics and GIAC or OSCP certifications are pluses. On-site in Redmond, with some travel.
