Client Platform Security Engineer
Stripe · New York, New York
About the role
A security software engineer on Stripe's Secure Devices team, which keeps more than 10,000 company endpoints in line with Stripe's security standards. The engineer builds and maintains Stripe's own endpoint security software, including macOS system extensions for telemetry and prevention, runs high-traffic backend services that push controls and configuration to devices, and advises on iOS security for Stripe's move into mobile. Other work includes restricting unapproved software without frustrating users, device attestation and identity, a user-friendly data loss prevention program, and defining secure configuration across macOS, iOS, Android and ChromeOS.
Stripe asks for four or more years securing iOS or macOS, and four or more writing Go, Swift or Objective-C. EDR development experience and knowledge of Apple platform internals are pluses. Based in New York.
