Cloud Security Engineer

An engineer on Stripe's Cloud Security team, which builds the core security controls and services that let Stripe's engineers ship quickly on a well-governed cloud platform. The engineer designs, builds and operates that shared security infrastructure, creates guardrails for established and newer cloud services, writes CI tooling for IAM roles and service control policies, automates the steady reduction of cloud permissions, extends cloud identity to support AI and agentic access, helps acquired companies migrate onto the Stripe Secure Platform, and feeds reliable signals to threat teams.

Stripe wants production software engineering experience and security knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP. Cloud threat modelling, Linux, Kubernetes and containers, and CSPM or CNAPP tooling are preferred. Based in Seattle.
