Security Analyst

A security analyst on Stripe's distributed Security Incident Response team, working remotely in the US. The analyst triages security alerts and inquiries through log and data analysis, judges whether activity is a real threat and how severe it is, takes pre-approved containment steps, and escalates to investigators. The role also improves detection by tuning and creating use cases, enriching data and adding feeds, automates triage, reports on trends, and mentors teammates.

Stripe wants five years in IT or security including incident response, two years analysing large datasets for event triage or investigations, endpoint and multi-cloud investigation experience, SQL, basic Python or Go, and SIEM log analysis.
