Security Engineer, Bridge

A senior security engineer at Bridge, Stripe's stablecoin payments business, building its security program from first principles while drawing on Stripe's mature security tooling and practice. The engineer sets the Bridge security roadmap, goes after the biggest risks quickly, leads threat modelling and hardening of the money movement systems with the crypto and infrastructure teams, and stands up the basics: security monitoring, secrets handling, an incident response capability, access control and hardened CI/CD. Keeping Bridge audit-ready as it enters regulated markets is also part of it.

Stripe asks for eight or more years of security engineering and a record of standing up or growing a security program, whether at a startup or embedded in a business. Comfort with backend code, ideally Ruby, helps. Based in San Francisco, New York or Seattle.
