About the role
Protects Privy, the Stripe business building developer APIs and wallet infrastructure for crypto products, through hands-on investigation and engineering. The engineer handles alerts and incidents on the security on-call rotation, leads investigations into suspected compromises, builds production tooling for alert enrichment, triage, remediation and access reviews, and works with product teams on lower-complexity design reviews.
The team wants experience as a security or detection engineer, strong software skills in Python, Go or Ruby, a record of taking ambiguous security problems through to resolution, and a solid grasp of web, browser, infrastructure or cloud security. Based in New York.
