Security Engineer, Privy

A hands-on security engineer at Privy, the Stripe-owned company that provides wallet and crypto infrastructure APIs to developers. The job mixes day-to-day security operations and incident handling with application, infrastructure and tooling work: investigating alerts, findings and suspected compromises through to root cause and fix, joining the security on-call rotation, handling access reviews and vulnerability work, and writing production-grade automation for enrichment, triage, routing and remediation. Reviewing simpler designs with product teams is part of it too.

Privy wants prior experience as a security or detection engineer, solid Python, Go or Ruby, a record of resolving security incidents and investigations, and broad web, cloud or infrastructure security knowledge. Cloud security, IAM, secrets management and bug bounty experience help. Based in New York.
