Software Engineer, Vulnerability Management

A software engineer on Stripe's Vulnerability Management team, whose job is to find security flaws across Stripe at scale and give the business clear visibility of them. The engineer builds data-driven and agent-based systems that discover and prioritise vulnerabilities, triages findings from automated scanners, works with engineering teams to get fixes made on time, advises on security risk, and keeps improving the team's processes and choice of scanning tools.

Stripe asks for at least two years of industry software engineering, some of it in security, along with strong communication and high standards for code quality. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and triage, and experience using agents to automate manual review, are preferred. Remote in the US.
