Staff Software Engineer, IAM Control Plane

A staff engineer on Stripe's IAM Control Plane team in San Francisco, part of the Organizations and Auth Platform, which owns API keys, user roles and access auditing for Stripe users. The engineer designs the next generation of IAM primitives for AI agent experiences, builds custom roles and granular permissions, architects features such as Account Groups for large organisations, runs highly available backend services, and works across API design, data modelling and frontend.

Stripe targets ten years of software development, backend services experience in Go, Ruby, Java or similar, and mentoring ability; IAM, authentication or authorisation experience and React are preferred.
