Senior Security Engineer, Customer Transparency

A senior engineer on the Customer Transparency team in Tanium's R&D Security organisation, which aims to make Tanium's own security posture something customers can see and act on rather than take on trust. The engineer speaks for R&D Security to outside parties: running the bug bounty program and vulnerability disclosure, judging severity and awards, writing Tanium Security Advisories and CVE records with CWE and CVSS, coordinating embargoes, overseeing the SBOM and vulnerability management program, answering customer security escalations, and building AI-assisted tooling and data interfaces that close gaps in what customers can see.

Tanium wants five or more years in product or application security, vulnerability research or security-focused engineering, experience working with customers and outside researchers, and practical use of AI in security work. Remote in the US.
