Senior AI Information Security Engineer

Leads AI security work on Tenable's Information Security team, designing controls across the AI and ML lifecycle for its products and the wider enterprise. The engineer inspects model internals for safety research, runs AI threat modelling and assessments, builds guardrails for language models, develops reference architectures for MCP servers and agentic workflows, and drives secure development practices for AI-powered products.

Tenable wants five or more years in information or application security, one to two on securing AI, strong Python or Go, PyTorch or similar, and interpretability tools such as TransformerLens. A master's degree is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available. Hybrid at the Columbia, Maryland headquarters.
