Senior, Product Cybersecurity Architect

A senior architect on Torc Robotics' Product Cybersecurity team, part of Safety and Regulatory, which secures the company's autonomous trucking platform throughout its life. Working with the Compute Platform and Autonomy teams, the architect defines and checks controls for embedded operating systems, encryption, access control, networking, middleware and secure coding, with hands-on work on embedded Linux, QNX, Ethernet and cellular telematics. The role also runs threat modelling and other activities that find design and implementation flaws, builds the cybersecurity part of Torc's safety case for each launch or release, manages security vendors and trains colleagues.

Torc wants five or more years engineering safety-critical cyber-physical systems in automotive, aerospace or medical fields, plus strong embedded OS and networking skills. AUTOSAR, ISO 21434 and L4 autonomy experience help. Remote in the US or Ann Arbor.
