About the role
A senior information system security officer on Two Six Technologies' corporate security team in Herndon, supporting the ISSM on classified intelligence community programmes. The ISSO helps build, architect and accredit classified systems with the ISSM and CSO, owns accreditation and compliance for the Herndon programme, acts as security liaison between the programme, customer and security team, completes STIG checklists and POA&Ms, reviews data transfers, runs regular system audits and continuous monitoring, and maintains security policies across Windows, Active Directory, RHEL, Ubuntu and VMware environments.
It requires five years as an ISSO in classified settings, a DoD 8140 certification, ICD 503, DAAPM, JSIG and NIST 800-53 knowledge, Splunk and ServiceNow, and an active TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility.
