Software Vulnerability Analyst

Two Six Technologies  ·  Linthicum, Maryland

About the role

A software vulnerability analyst on Two Six Technologies' Trusted Electronics and Effects team who checks whether software and firmware patches really fix the flaws they target, in support of national security research. The analyst diffs binaries before and after patches, traces vulnerabilities to their root cause, confirms that fixes are complete, documents findings, and helps bring AI-assisted verification tools into the team's workflow, working largely independently.

Two Six wants static and dynamic reverse engineering experience, patch diffing with tools such as BinDiff or Diaphora, disassemblers such as Ghidra or IDA Pro, debuggers such as GDB or WinDbg, root-cause analysis, and C, C++ and Python on Linux. Frida, fuzzing and knowledge of exploit mitigations are pluses. An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required, and the job is on-site in Linthicum, Maryland every day.
