Vulnerability Researcher
Two Six Technologies · Linthicum, Maryland
About the role
A vulnerability researcher at Two Six Technologies' Linthicum, Maryland site, reverse engineering wireless and embedded systems for government customers alongside CNO developers and hardware engineers. The researcher digs into firmware, protection schemes and radio protocols to find flaws and judge their impact, writes well-organised proof-of-concept exploits, and builds custom tools for taking apart and modifying binaries.
Two Six wants C, C++ and Python on Linux with a low-level focus, reverse engineering with IDA Pro, Binary Ninja or Ghidra, and expertise in at least one of firmware analysis on ARM, MIPS or PowerPC, QEMU rehosting, fuzzing and exploit development, anti-analysis techniques, radio protocols, or fault injection. Cellular, Bluetooth, Zigbee or CAN knowledge is a plus. An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required, and the work is on-site at the customer location every day.
