Director, Product Management, Governance (Identity & Auth)

UiPath  ·  Bellevue

About the role

Leads product direction for identity, authentication and access governance on UiPath's agentic automation platform, as a director in the Governance product team. The scope covers identity for people, robots and AI agents, delegated and scoped authorisation, credential brokering, and audit and attribution for non-human actors, along with newer problems such as authentication between agents and over MCP, just-in-time elevation and sandboxing. The role leads through influence more than headcount.

The director owns the multi-year vision for this area and defines the identity conventions other platform teams adopt, from provisioning and delegation to attestation, rotation and revocation. That includes how tool calls and MCP are authorised, with narrow consent, minimal privileges and an audit record a compliance team will accept. The job is hands-on: working with large regulated customers in finance, healthcare and the public sector on production rollouts down to the specific control that failed, self-hosting the platform and building reference implementations with coding agents, and turning standards such as delegated OAuth, verifiable credentials and policy engines like OPA or Cedar into shipped product. The director also sets the measures of success and presents UiPath's governance approach to customers, partners and CISOs.

UiPath wants more than ten years in technical product management or engineering focused on security, identity or IAM platforms, deep fluency in OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, mTLS, secrets, RBAC and ABAC, a working grasp of agentic AI, and a builder's habit of prototyping in code. Experience at an identity vendor, hyperscaler identity team or early-stage startup is ideal. The role is based in Bellevue.
