Field Security Advisor

Joins Coveware's Cyber Readiness and Advisory Services team at Veeam, helping retained Global 2000 clients prepare their executive, technical, legal, finance and operations teams to handle a cyber extortion incident. The advisor reports to the Senior Director, Field CISO, and works alongside Customer Success. The job centres on running readiness engagements: executive briefings, technical workshops and tabletop exercises built around realistic ransomware scenarios, plus playbooks and decision frameworks kept current with case trends and forensic findings. Some support for customer due diligence, questionnaires and contract security exhibits is included. Coveware wants seven or more years in security, with depth in incident response, DFIR, security operations or advisory work, three years facing enterprise customers, and strong facilitation and writing. Remote, with occasional travel.
