Owns detection engineering and cloud security for the platform security team behind Veeam's SaaS data protection services on Azure and AWS, based in San Jose. The engineer designs a security data lake that brings cloud, SaaS and endpoint telemetry into one queryable store, writes detections as code in Sentinel and KQL, automates triage and enrichment, hardens identity, egress, secrets and logging, ships controls as Terraform, turns Wiz findings into an owned remediation queue, and assesses detection coverage.
