Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

A senior engineer in Verra Mobility's information security group who implements and runs the company's security technology with a defence-in-depth, zero-trust approach. The engineer installs, configures, patches and reviews tools such as SIEM, SOAR, WAF, PAM, firewalls and web and email gateways, documents architecture and procedures, trains colleagues on new tools, supports proofs of concept, and can act as senior technical lead during incident response, including briefing leadership. Supplying audit evidence to the GRC team is part of it. Verra Mobility wants a relevant degree or five years as a security engineer and broad hands-on tool experience; certifications such as CISSP or OSCP, CrowdStrike and scripting skills are preferred. Candidates must pass an Nlets fingerprint background check. Based at the Mesa, Arizona headquarters.
