Staff Cyber Resilience Engineer

Leads Xometry's defences against ransomware, destructive wiping and large-scale data loss as a hands-on staff engineer. The engineer designs and builds an Isolated Recovery Environment in a hardened AWS account with immutable vaults, threat-models cloud attack paths such as IAM privilege escalation and backup deletion, moves all infrastructure into Terraform so the stack can be redeployed into a clean account, writes executable recovery playbooks and integrity tests in Python or Go, runs full recovery drills and owns the follow-up, and advises engineering on resilient architecture alongside the SRE team. Xometry wants eight or more years in complex cloud environments including three in AWS, strong Terraform, secure-vault design and restoration automation; experience recovering from a real attack is preferred.
