Senior Software Systems Engineer - Security

Joins Zoox's Product Security team, which analyses the security of the company's autonomous vehicle products throughout the development lifecycle. The engineer quantifies security risks that affect safety, working closely with safety teams, verifies those estimates by fuzzing realistic scenarios in simulation, writes design proposals and drives them through, rolls risk metrics into company-wide frameworks, and works with software and hardware engineering teams so recommendations reflect real constraints. Zoox wants a master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field with seven or more years of experience, strong systems engineering combined with cybersecurity expertise, quantitative risk methods such as attack-tree quantification, Monte Carlo or Bayesian models, embedded systems risk analysis, and practical use of AI tools.
