Staff Network Security Architect
Zoox · Foster City, CA
About the role
Sets the target network security design for Zoox, covering how enterprise IT, OT and lab networks and AWS and GCP environments are segmented, connected and trusted, and has the final security say on new infrastructure designs. The architect owns the reference architecture and zero-trust strategy, including NAC, PKI, ZTNA and authentication for headless lab and vehicle assets, runs early design reviews and threat models, turns NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 into buildable standards encoded in Terraform and policy-as-code, analyses data flows for vehicle and vendor connections, and handles exceptions and the long-term roadmap. Zoox wants ten or more years in network and security engineering, four or more in architecture or technical lead roles, and proven enterprise segmentation or zero-trust delivery. Hybrid in Foster City.
