Principal Threat Researcher

Acts as Zscaler's subject matter expert on adversary behaviour across endpoint and cloud environments, reporting to the Manager Threat Research. The researcher takes apart and replicates attack techniques on operating systems and services such as AWS, Microsoft 365 and Okta, writes attack and test code, builds proofs of concept for new detections, shapes engineering priorities with detection engineers and threat hunters, and mentors junior colleagues.

The company wants 12 or more years of security research, deep expertise in at least one operating system, EDR and cloud security experience, and development skills in a scripting and a compiled language. Conference talks and public writing stand out. Remote.
